I'm Marc Helgesen. I am a professor in the Department of Intercultural Studies at Miyagi Gakuin Women's University, Sendai, Japan. I teach English as a foreign language. I am also adjunct professor at Teachers College Columbia University M.A. TESOL Program - Tokyo.
As you can see from this site, I am interested in ways we can use ideas from positive psychology in the ELT classroom. If you have positive psychology ELT activities you would like me to post of this site, please send them to me as a pdf (address below). Please be sure to include your email address on the activity so teachers can ask you about it. Also be sure follow copyright laws. The plan is for this to be a free website with all downloads being available to anyone at no cost.
